Initial Research, Inspiration, and Design Process

While there are many brands on the market that offer swimwear that showcase personality through design features, colours, and trims, these brands tend to eliminate their uniqueness in design once the size reaches D Cup+.

This pushes women within this size range to buy styles that are too sporty, mature, or modest for their liking, compromising their personal style for fit.

On the other hand, these women will opt to wear trendier styles in XL just so the cup fits, but the wrong sizing typically causes back and neck pain as well as caution in movement.

Sand Dollar Swimwear offers D-Cup+ friendly swimwear designed to prioritize support while celebrating femininity. Thoughtfully crafted with adjustable features, delicate details, and true bra sizing, each piece delivers comfort, confidence, and a flattering fit.

Fit and Design Features Suitable for the Niche Market:

  • adjustable cups, straps, and closures

  • underwire, banding, and bra sizing

  • feminine: picot elastic trims, touches of bling, soft pastels

  • promotes comfortability and confidence

Designed a mood board, target market board, product board, trim and embellishment board, and an overall design direction board to better direct the designing stage.

Final Designs: Specification Package
