As a full time design student, Silvie is enthusiastic about creativity, expression, and problem solving. Her education along with her industry experience has taught her the importance of authenticity which she values highly within her work.

Moreover, growing up in British Columbia has fostered her appreciation for nature. She finds herself drawing inspiration from the diverse landscapes and the vibrant colours BC’s outdoors has to offer.

Currently, she channels these values in her team projects and in her course work, but she aspires to inspire the next generation in her future textiles and home economics classroom.
